We were running some errands nearby when we decided to make our way to Bagel Bear on Saturday midday. There was a line that moved quickly - orders “for here” filled more quickly than food to go. We ordered two bagel sandwiches and two coffees. The Austin lox had great flavor but the bread was a bit thick, though overall we didn’t mind because the flavors were right. The staff were so kind and gracious, offering to bring extras and make sure we were happy with our order.

Bagel Bear absolutely exceeded our expectations! This was our first visit, and we were blown away by both the food and the hospitality. The owner was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. He even treated us to a free drink since it was our first time and took the time to give us great recommendations. The bagels were phenomenal, especially the Austin Lox, which was hands down our favorite. The coffee was just as delicious and paired perfectly with our meal. You can really tell they care about both the quality of their food and the experience they provide for every customer. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Bagel Bear to anyone looking for amazing bagels, great coffee, and outstanding customer service!

Stopped by this new bagel spot and had such a great experience for the SECOND time. From the moment you walk in, everyone makes you feel so welcome. The owner took the time to chat with us and share recommendations, which made the experience feel so personal. The staff is INCREDIBLY kind and generous, the space was spotless, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. You can really tell how much care and love has gone into creating this place. And of course, the food was amazing. Their za’atar bagel & Austin Lox is FIRE. Their seasonal special drinks are amazing also! I got the spiced brown sugar - 10/10 DEF a spot we’ll be coming back to. Especially knowing it’s Palestinian owned :,) Highly recommend!

Literally the best lox..Austin Lox I've ever had. The bagels were so soft with the perfect texture inside and out. The customer service was exceptional as the owner and his entire team or incredibly accommodating and service-oriented. Prices are very fair especially considering the different meats. I will come here every single time and will not eat another bagel in Austin anywhere else. If you haven't been here you need to make this a stop it's a must-have everything on the menu. The drinks were very well crafted and perfect amount of sweetness. I wish I lived in Austin I would come here every week.

My new favorite bagel spot in Cedar Park! I was craving a lox bagel and decided to treat myself. I came in around 9 AM on a Wednesday, and it was nice and quiet. There was only one other person there working on their laptop. Since it was my first time, the man working there offered me free bagel samples and helped me choose the best bagel type for the Austin Lox. He explained that all of their bagels are sourdough, with bagels sourced from Philadelphia and salmon from New York. I noticed a sign listing their cream cheese flavors and was shocked to see a date flavor. I mentioned I would try it next time and he went to the back and brought me a generous sample that was at least a couple of tablespoons. It was so good. I also ordered an iced Dubai latte with oat milk. It tasted like an iced mocha, just a bit more bitter and similar to dark chocolate or a French hot chocolate. I would 100% come back. The staff was so nice, the shop is super cute, and there is plenty of parking in the shopping center.
